For our client, a large company in the manufacturing industry, we are seeking a candidate for the position of Assembly Engineer – Automation Engineer. This is a greenfield investment with capital from the United States. The company is a pioneer in the European market, and the newly established production hall offers great opportunities for growth and advancement.
The advantage is a brand new machine park, working with new production technologies and the opportunity to receive a lot of development training, including in the United States.
The company is located on the Upper Silesian Industrial Ring Road, which leads to the A1 highway, 1.5 km away.
Scope of duties at the position:
- Measuring, setting up machines, and verifying label application processes.
- Testing.
- Adherence to company policies, internal regulations, and safety policies.
- Participation in research projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training personnel on established processes.
- Ensuring process documentation and operating instructions.
- Responsibility for 5S audits.
- Determination of packing method for NPI.
- Monitoring NPI.
- Creating documentation.
Additionally:
- Supporting production through process reviews.
- Introducing innovations, improving, and standardizing current processes.
- Collecting, recording, and transcribing data from data capture systems.
- Creating time-motion studies.
- Generating first article inspection reports.
- Conducting tooling inventories.
- Performing process measurements.
- Conducting trials through various processes as part of improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the industry – in automation, machine programming, or vision systems.
- Experience in greenfield investments preferred.
- Higher technical education – electronics, automation.
- English language proficiency – communicative in both speech and writing (minimum B2).
- Problem-solving skills.
- Document creation abilities.
- Willingness to undergo approximately a 2-month training in the United States.
- Familiarity with measurement equipment, observant, resilient, patient, accurate, responsible, capable of attention to detail, ability to work in a team, technical aptitude, ability to work at a fast pace.
