For our client, a large company in the manufacturing industry, we are seeking a candidate for the position of Chemical Technologist Engineer. This is a greenfield investment with capital from the United States. The company is a pioneer in the European market, and the newly established production hall offers great opportunities for growth and advancement.

The advantage is a brand new machine park, working with new production technologies and the opportunity to receive a lot of development training, including in the United States.

The company is located on the Upper Silesian Industrial Ring Road, which leads to the A1 highway, 1.5 km away.

Job responsibilities:

• Measuring, setting up machines and verifying processes to create pulp from raw materials.
• Conducting tests.
• Participating in research projects and continuous improvement.
• Training staff on established processes.
• Providing process documentation and operating instructions.
• Responsibility for 5S audits.
• Determining the packaging method for NPI.
• Monitoring NPI.
• Adhering to company rules, internal regulations and safety policies.

Additionally:

• Supporting production through process reviews.
• Innovate, improve and standardize current processes.
• Collecting, recording and transcribing data from data capture systems.
• Creating time and motion studies.
• Creating first article introduction reports.
• Maintaining tool inventory.
• Running samples through various processes as part of improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Min. 1 year experience in production and machine setting in chemical technology, chemical composition setting.
• Experience in greenfield investment is welcome.
• Higher education in chemical technology.
• English language – communicative in speech and writing (min. B2).
• Knowledge of MS Excel, PLC and programming, CAD.
• Willingness to undergo approximately 2 months of training in the United States.
• Openness, interest in new technologies, machinery, mechanics, determination to develop, curiosity about the world.
