For our client, a large manufacturing company, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Maintenance Specialist.

This is a greenfield investment with capital from the United States. The company is a pioneer in the European market, and the newly established production hall offers great opportunities for development and advancement. A significant advantage is the brand-new machinery park, working with new production technologies, and the possibility of undergoing various development trainings, including in the United States. The company is located near the Górnośląski Industrial District Bypass, which leads to the A1 motorway located 1.5 km away.

Scope of tasks for the position:

  • Planning and organizing repair and investment works.
  • Supervising current maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Ensuring continuity of machine, equipment, and installation maintenance.
  • Preparation of procedures related to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Analysis and resolution of technical problems, diagnosis of failures, and repair of faulty components.
  • Service contact with machine and parts suppliers.
  • Making improvements to production lines to achieve planned indicators.
  • Reporting technical data to superiors.
  • Robot programming, PLC controller programming, operating control panel.

Additionally:

Work in developing structures, at the factory construction stage in Poland. Requires commitment, experimentation to determine what works and what does not, consultation with the USA or machine manufacturers.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an electromechanic, automation engineer, electrician in the Maintenance Department – min. 5 years, preferably in new startups.
  • Experience in working with power tools.
  • Education as a mechanic, technician, electromechanic.
  • G1, G2 qualifications + SEP electrician.
  • Ability to read technical documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of issues related to machine and equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • English language proficiency – mandatory communicative (min B2) both orally and in writing.
  • Computer systems, MS Excel.
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift, 4-brigade system.
  • Open-minded person, interested in new technology, machinery, determined to achieve goals and development, curious about the world.
