Summary of the HR Coffee Break in Gdynia

We are pleased to announce that on September 20, 2024, in Gdynia, another HR Coffee Break event, organized by Smart Solutions, took place. The theme of the meeting was “Asian Employees and Cultural Integration in Polish Business.” The event brought together HR experts from various industries who shared knowledge, experience, and discussed best practices for hiring employees from Asia.

Agnieszka Kolanowska, Strategic Partnership Manager at Smart Solutions in Poland, opened the event with a warm welcome to the guests and emphasized how important and timely this topic is in today’s world. The integration of Asian employees into Polish business is not just a trend but a real opportunity to enrich corporate culture, introduce fresh ideas, and explore new approaches to business development.

The topic of integrating Asian employees has proven to be extremely important for many companies. Understanding the cultural differences of employees can help HR professionals tailor training and motivational programs and improve team communication. I am glad we had the chance to learn about best practices from colleagues, which will help introduce multicultural teams into our business. Krinal Shah Sur, International Relations Specialist for Asian Markets, also participated in the event. She discussed methods for integrating Asians into the Polish workplace and shared how Polish companies can leverage their unique knowledge and skills to boost innovation. This can help create a harmonious work environment where all employees can realize their potential and contribute to the company’s success.

Marcin Borkowski, HR leader at Porta KMI Polska, shared practical experience on effectively onboarding Asian employees, based on his company’s example.

We also thank Synex Logistics for their support and participation in the event. Oksana Antipa, Branch Manager in Gdańsk, shared insights on the specifics of cross-cultural cooperation between Polish companies and Asian countries. Her presentation captivated the audience and highlighted the importance of intercultural communication skills, particularly in the logistics industry. Thanks to this information, attendees gained new ideas for improving cooperation and business development on the international stage.

The HR Coffee Break speakers were true experts who shared inspiring market examples and key strategies for integrating multicultural teams. The discussions proved to be highly productive.
